ABOUT US
Many children's clubs and organizations throughout the Westchester NY area have difficulty providing ongoing art programs to kids in need because of the cost of art supplies. Baking for Crayons recognizes this need, and wants to do something about it. We created fundraising activities like bake sales, an art supply drive and a donation page to buy and bring new art supplies to children in the Westchester Community, and eventually other communities.
About me...as a high school AP Art student, I am working to bring new and exciting art supplies and art projects to groups of kids in need as a way of sharing my passion and love of art. Art has been an important part of my high school experience. Through this project, I'd like to give other kids the opportunity to explore art using their imagination and creativity by having new and super cool art supplies and projects to work on. Hopefully, this will inspire kids to do more art, and eventually develop a real passion for it making a difference in their lives.
